A walk in the footprints of two of the greatest writers in English literature who lived around 200 years apart.
In their own way both were social commentators and chroniclers of their times. Thanks to them we have a very real feel of what it was like to live in those days.
We visit some of the sites in London connected with them including site of the original Globe Theatre, Nancy's steps, Bankside, The George Inn, the site of Newgate Prison, St Paul's churchyard.....and many more
